INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS


ARTIFICIAL V.3 is a festival of art and creativity based on the use of Artificial Intelligence and generative tools.
Is organized by the CITYLAB creative collective.

The Festival will be held at the GAM Cultural Center in Santiago de Chile from October 22th to November 03th, 2024.

GENERAL TERMS FOR ARTISTS:
  • The participation of the artists is by invitation of the curatorial team.
  • The curatorial team will suggest a selection of works to each invited artist.
  • Each artist must send the high resolution files (image, video, audio, text) of their works by filling this form.
  • The deadline for sending the files is Monday, October 14th.
  • In the case of images, CITYLAB will print a copy of one of the works of each artist in fine art quality and will mount them in the exhibition, including the credits of their author.
  • In the case of videos, there will be a permanent screening in the main venue of the Festival, as well as special screenings.
  • CITYLAB will also post some of the works at the official page of the exhibition and on its social networks, for promotional purposes.
  • The intellectual property of the works will always belong to their authors, who authorize their use for the purposes of the exhibition in the Festival only.
  • Artists may authorize the sale of printed copies of their works during the Festival, in which case they must indicate in the same form the price for an A3+ copy. The commission for sales is 25%, after deducting the cost of printing (US$10).

PROMOTION AND PUBLIC AWARENESS
The exhibition and its contents will be published on CITYLAB's Instagram account (34K followers) and on its website citylab.link
PR materials will be made for the press and media to amplify its reach.

AUTHORIZATION TEXT
“By filling the form, I authorize CITYLAB to print 1 copy of each of the attached works in order to be exhibited in the ARTIFICIAL expo and in the digital media related to this exhibition and Festival.”

CITYLAB VENUE
 Located in the busiest sector of GAM, Chile's main cultural center, the room has 200 square meters (650 sq feet) of exhibition space and 65 square meters (213 sq feet) for workshops and creative CoWork.
Its perimeter is made of transparent glass from floor to ceiling, with ample visual access from the outside.
The GAM Center receives more than 150,000 visitors monthly.
